This project will look to provide motor vehicle operational improvements to the Lakewood Road corridor and address safety issues for bicyclists and pedestrians. This project includes two major components – improving the intersection of Lakewood Road and Miller Road, and the addition of bicycle and pedestrian accommodations to the entirety of Lakewood Road. The Village of Lake in the Hills has committed to partnering on a shared use path along the corridor.
Project Status
Phase I - is completed. Phase II - is anticipated to begin in 2026. Construction anticipated to begin in 2028.
